We are a hands-on team of experienced property professionals, all working to provide excellent property reports for our clients. Our team is our biggest asset and represents us to our clients on a daily basis, so we recruit the most talented individuals we can find. We invest heavily in training, both initially and on an ongoing basis, to ensure that we continue to stay at the forefront of our industry.
London, Bromley & Hertfordshire Manager
Sonia joined Property Inventories as a clerk in 2017 and was quickly promoted to Manager in early 2018. Of her appointment, Sonia says “It's a real privilege to join a well-established team that puts the happiness of its customers at the heart of everything that we do. Today we're seeing many changes with economic, societal and political uncertainty, and against this backdrop we've taken the decision to make a number of changes, some of which are difficult but necessary. This is to ensure we're always focusing on tomorrow. Looking forward we expect the market conditions to remain challenging, however with the team's dedication and focus of delivering great service, achieving customer satisfaction remains our central goal.”
Adrian has run the north west London side of Property Inventories since 2012. Adrian says “After setting up and running a telecoms business for 18 years I sold out and wanted to get into property. I met a few companies but was most impressed with the management and team at Property Inventories.”
Most of our team of clerks are our own full time, salaried employees who are based in our office in Islington. We also use home-based clerks in north-west London, north-east London and Kent to service those areas. When clerks come to us with no previous experience, they undertake a training programme for their first month of employment which involves desk-based learning and on-the-job visits to properties with other clerks. We undertake regular reviews on an ongoing basis to ensure that all clerks complete reports in the same manner and use the same terminology. Our clerks tell us that the best thing about the job is the variety of being in the office and out and about on bookings.
Our administrative team are all based in our office in Islington and are our own full time staff – no outsourcing of typing or call centre for us! Our admins are the first point of contact for our clients when they are making bookings or have questions, so all have an excellent grasp of written and spoken English. They take bookings, type up reports, work with our tablet software and deal with clients' questions. They are a dynamic and sociable bunch who are generally the glue that holds the system together.
